When I finished medical school in 2007, I knew for sure that I would be a surgeon. During the internship, which comprises the last 2 years of the course, I loved to stay in the operating room and learn procedures. Therefore, the General Surgery residency was my choice, as it is a prerequisite for the other surgical specialties. I learned to operate by correcting hernias, varicose veins, gallbladder removal, appendix, emergency surgeries, among others. I was able to get to know Plastic Surgery better in this period of 2 years. There was no way: I fell in love! So, I applied for a new contest for the Plastic Surgery residency at the same institution where I did General Surgery, the Federal University of São Paulo. So, I stayed at UNIFESP for another 3 years. The formation of Plastic Surgery teaches us to recover form and function of the most varied body areas, due to diseases, tumors or accidents. Already cosmetic surgery, the change of self-image and improvement of self-esteem that reflects so much in human relationships. For me, it's the most complete medical specialty there is! After the residency, I completed a Master's degree on the safety of anesthesia in mammoplasty, also at the Federal University of São Paulo. With the end of the residency, I was approved as a Member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery. I decided to dedicate myself to the studies of Rhinoplasty, a beautiful chapter of plastic surgery, and remained as a fellow in breast reconstruction for 3 years at Hospital Sírio-Libanês, where I learned to always pursue exceptional results in mammoplasty. In this trajectory, there were 11 years of studies until the title of specialist. I mean, in fact, the studies and updates never stop, because I always want to bring the best and most modern to my patients through national and international congresses.
